This question was asked in a prior conversation, but the actual question asked was not answered, so I'm asking it again:
Is there a way to display the current GPS altitude in the CalYopo app, in addition to the altitude obtained from the map?

If not, I suggest such a feature. There are various cases when it might be useful (when in a tall building, when wanting to compare the 2 ways of estimating current elevation, etc.)

Thanks, great products!

We'll consider it, but there are some reasons we might not implement this. For one, GPS altitude, particularly on a mobile device, is typically very inaccurate. Second, this would take up even more of the display space and is likely not a high enough priority to most people to justify this loss of useable map space. For the few cases where the GPS altitude is desired, you can use a dedicated GPS app.

    Thanks,
    Julie
