Hi Support,

I am not seeing the NPS tiles options available as selectable layers in my account. I have a SAR account linked to my profile.

Any reason why these layers would not be showing anymore. Attached is a screenshot of my visible options.

    Hello Ben,

You can now find these maps as part of Shared Map Sheets, and even save them to your account if you'd like. Because they are now available there and only had limited coverage as a base layer, we have pulled them from the base layer list to clean it up a little. You will see that we reorganized the base layer list in some other ways too, and added a new "global imagery" layer.

    Thanks,
    Julie

I see shared map sheets within my account but not the NPS tiles? How do I turn then on?

Map Sheets are viewed by geographic area as rectangle overlays shaded white. Turn on the layer, click on an area to see what sheets are available for that location, then add them either to your map, or to your account for easy future access from Your Map Sheets.

    Thanks,
    Julie

    Ben,
We inadvertently broke the NPS map tiles this weekend. They've been added back into the configuration and should be re-enabled at the next server restart. We intentionally removed the USFS and NPS visitor map layers and transitioned them to map sheets only, which was why there was confusion. The NPSmap tile layer is restricted to the SAR server only and gets pretty limited use which is why there was confusion.

Sorry about that, you'll see them back up soon.

    Best,
    Ben

    Ben -

I re-added the npmap tiles, but entirely unrelated to us accidentally dropping them during the recent layer reshuffle, the layer is generating error messages. It looks like the access token we were given has expired or been deleted, and we need to get another one to continue using the layer.

I'll have to reach back out to the NPS and see if we can get another one.

    Thanks for the reply Matt.

Let me know if I can help in any way. I know these layers will be of great use to our SAR group and NPS.
