When you click on the assignment and select click map from within the
assignment window the resulting auto generated map of that particular
assignment does not have a QR code and therefore cannot be imported into

Got it, and that's not supported, you need to use the standard print function. If the assignment map isn't geospatially tagged, I could probably add that so that you could manually load it into Avenza via copying onto a phone.
Adding a QR code would require storing each assignment map in the database and assigning a URL to it. Given that Avenza doesn't read multi-page geospatial PDFs, so it would also only work on single-page assignment maps rather than bulk ops ones, I don't see being able to devote time to overcoming the hurdles required to add a QR code to individual assignment maps.
