Hello,

Was wondering if there was a Raspberry Pi implementation of SARTopo?

Thank you,
Alex

The offline subscription ($50/yr with a SAR account) gives you access to SARTopo Offline, which is essentially the same code that powers sartopo.com, in a Java .jar file. Things may have improved by now, but on the original Raspberry Pi, it was so slow as to be unusable. The issue seemed to be less the RPI's raw power, and more the immature state of the Java Virtual Machine implementation for ARM.

Any thoughts as to the performance on the newest Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ (March 2018 Release)? Has anybody tried this?
