Is it possible to run SARTopo Offline on Linux? I'm looking at options for conducting virtual training with the offline version and one thought I had would be to run the offline server on an AWS EC2 instance. I'd prefer to run on a Linux machine since they are cheaper and easier to manage than a Windows machine would be. I'm assuming it is possible since it can be run on macOS but I didn't see anything specific about it in the knowledge base.

    Hi there,
There isn't anything in the knowledge base, but the offline version can be run on linux. The instructions should be similar to the instructions for Mac and Windows, with a few differences.

I am interested in this as well.
Do you have a linux version for download?
Any specifics on what needs to be downloaded and installed to run on linux?
    Thanks!

    Bruce,
You'll need a "offline" account in order to use the downloadable app. With that level account subscription you'll be able to download the offline app from the offline tab in your settings.

Essentially to run it you'll need a current JDK installed and will run the cal.jar file from the command line java. It will init a server just like on mac and windows that you'll be able to find on localhost.
