Where are maps stored locally and missing map data

We recently had a search and had saved a map, recently. Now we cannot access the map as we get the message Map xxxx is not found. The map for another search, earlier in the day, is found and works.

At the end of the later search we were downloading tracks from GPSs and sartopo-offline did not seem to respond correctly. We shutdown the server and restarted it with no luck in getting any access to sartopo-offline. The next day we tried to access this one search map and we get the above message, all other maps seem to be accessed correctly.

1) Where does the port :8080 point to and so where are the maps /m/xxxx stored?

2) Is there any way to recover the 'lost' map, knowing its name, 'xxxx' ? a redundant backup version saved somewhere?

Thanks for any guidance,
Steve

    Steve -

The underlying data is stored in 3 files underneath your install directory - data/db.log, data/db.script and data/db.properties (if you have a really old version the directory will be named sardata rather than data). Can you send me those files (and the map ID you're missing)?
