something in sar.jar causes windows defender to hog the CPU

Very consistently for a long time now (maybe ever since I sadly got a windows 10 computer) whenever you run STO (sar.jar) the windows antimalware executable, which owns the windows defender antivirus service, takes up a good chunk of the CPU (17-20%) constantly until you stop the sar.jar process. Wondering if others are seeing this too. Any thoughts?
