Is it normal that Slope Angle Shading and also dem shading works only with USA map but not with other country?

Yes - the US is the only country I have high-resolution elevation data for.

Long-term I hope to expand relief shading, contours and slope angle shading worldwide, but if I do, there would be a noticeable reduction in accuracy vs what's available in the US.

    Ok Matt!!
it's a shame for other countries than usa when you printed map the quality is really poor!! One way i would like to renhance the map is to use slope and also to quicly see parts with a special slope. When you mentionned reduction in accuracy it is really bad for other country?

    Tanks a lot!!

Global elevation data is generally derived from a pair of satellite missions (SRTM and ASTER). Nominal resolution is 30 meters, as opposed to 10 meters within the US, but I've found that it's generally less accurate than that.

    Thanks Matt!

Is there any solution to enhance map versus using slope?

    Yes you are right!

Is there any other solution to enhance maps color for printing when you are using maps not from USA? As using slope to enhance color for printing is not realisable for world maps (as you explain before)!
