Good morning. I am a Planning Section Chief on the Sequoia Complex. Our fire is currently threatening Mountain Home State Park and the communities to the east of that. I understand that you have a more dynamic product that CalFIre uses to update their knowledge of where fire is located. Are you able to help me with that? Thanks..

    Hi Robert -

I'm not sure what you're referring to, but our fire activity layer (MODIS/VIIRS satellite detections), live GOES imagery layer, and live GOES fire detection layer are all available for free. See

    https://caltopo.com/map.html#ll=36.22996,-118.67747&z=9&b=m...

    and

    https://caltopo.com/map.html#ll=36.17261,-118.4907&z=11&b=m...

that said, if you want to go to http://caltopo.com/about/pricing/first-responder-accounts/ and follow the link under "requesting an account", if you submit a copy of your ID or similar verification, we'd be happy to upgrade you to a free first responder account, which will give you access to features like printing larger map sizes.
