I want to download several maps to my laptop then copy only the ones I'll be using on a trip to my tablet. Which subscription will allow that?

    Hi Jaci,

If you want to view the maps on your tablet offline (no cell service or wifi), you will need at least a basic subscription. The features and pricing of the different individual subscriptions can be found here: https://caltopo.com/about/pricing/individual-accounts/

You can create maps on the CalTopo web app and then view them on the mobile app on your tablet. If you are new to CalTopo, this article walks you through creating your first map, including how to view a map you've made on the web on the mobile app: https://help.caltopo.com/kb/basics/getting-started-with-caltoposartopo

If you wish to view maps offline on your tablet, you will need to download base layers for offline use. This article walks you through how to do that: https://help.caltopo.com/kb/mobile-apps/downloading-layers-for-offl...

I hope that helps answer your question and enjoy your trip!
    Best,
    Meghan

Thank you, I couldn't tell from the pricing listing if I had to do an
upgrade because I was going to be using maps offline.
