I read "So you like the functions of the MapBuilder layer, but need to adjust it to fit your needs? Create your own and add it to your account! (Pro subscription or higher required.)" at https://help.caltopo.com/kb/layers/custom-layers-2 , but do not see how I get to where I can create a custom MapBuilder layer.

Thanks!

    Hi Tom,

This feature is found in the Add Layer menu. Then choose MapBuilder Layer. You can find some additional information here: https://caltopo.com/about/2015/11/09/mapbuilder-pimp-your-topo/

    Thanks,
    Julie

    2 clarifications:
Custom MapBuilder layers is a Premium CalTopo feature, and Premium calTopo members need to login to access this feature.

The menu to look for is "Add New Layer", in the mid-left "column" of the desktop screen.

Yes, it is a Pro-level feature, as indicated in your original message.

You can also access the new layers menu from the top menu under "Add".

    Best,
    Julie
