Slope Angle More Accurate Now?

Hi There,

Longtime CalTopo user. Particularly for backcountry skiing. Love what you guys do. Thank's sooo much! I've been using the slope angle overlays for a long time and they're great. I've been to a couple of areas lately where I notice that the app or the website appears to have more granular/detailed slope angle shading than the KMZ file I saved throughout the last 3 years. Am I crazy or did you get access to new / updated elevation data in the last year-ish?

Just trying to figure out how many maps I should go back and re-do. Thanks again. I love CalTopo and tell everyone about it!

    We updated the elevation data about 2 weeks ago with LIDAR and high resolution data.

    Here is a map of the coverage area for the new data:
