Hey folks, My apologies if this has been discussed previously. I am trying to import a kml file into an existing Caltopo project. It is not letting all of the objects import, saying N objects not shown because they are duplicates of existing data. This is true as I would like to overlay objects, to show what is duplicated. Are there any workarounds for this?

Thanks, Alex

Alex, this is by design since most times users aren't intending to import duplicate objects. Checked with our developers and that check only occurs if it is a saved map. So, you could export your map, reimport it to an unsaved map, then import the KML file you are looking for and export the entire thing as a single export and that would allow you to have duplication.

Sorry its a bit of a workaround but in the majority of cases this isn't desirable.
