How do I overlay several layers on the same map?

Hey folks, I am looking to overlay several long distance trails on the same map. Is this possible can someone point in the right direction to do this. Thanks y'all!

    Hi there,
    You can overlay several map layers easily using the dropdown in the upper righthand corner. As far as overlaying several trails on the same map, you can either draw the trails out on a base map using add object - add line, and draw out the trails. Alternatively you can overlay a custom layer, if you already have geospatial pdf's of the trails. However, this last option is a bit trickier.

    If by "layer" you actually mean linework on the left-side of your Caltopo screen (the lines tracing each trail) you can export linework to downloadable files (Export > GPX File) and then import them all into a new map.
