I am following up on a thread by this Subject that had been started by @ritom. And, I am new to CalTopo.

From my mobile phone, I am viewing a topo of the Cerro Catedral area here,

https://caltopo.com/m/KF59#

I tried slope shading and it didn't work, for reasons given in the earlier discussion. Is there a desktop version of CalTopo that can create a slope shade map? Or, can a slope shaded map be created in third-party software, like Golden Software's Surfer, then imported into CalTopo?

    Hi there,
The desktop version is the same as the mobile phone version. We simply haven't imported all the data from places other than the US for slope angle shading layers. You can add a custom layer (-Add new layer - add custom source). But I am not familiar with golden's software surfer, so not sure how well it would work.
