loading .gpx files

I have created a .shp file using a GIS software package and am trying to use it as a property boundary in CalTopo. I converted the .shp file to a .gpx file using DNR Garmin. When I attempt to import the .shp file into CalTopo there seems to be a projection issue. My file is in WGS 84, but it says that it is 3192 miles from my map. I have attached the message I am receiving as well as the file that I am trying to import.

Any assistance you can provide would be great.

Thanks so much.

Can you attach the GPX file, or email it to [email blocked] if you want to keep it private? This isn't an issue I've seen before.
