Hi everybody, is there an allowed way to access to caltopo from a desktop application in order to see a kml file.
In my case, I have an application in which I have a list of several items, each one associated to a kml file. It would be great, if possible, on mouse click on any item, to open a browser view in which this kml file is visible on caltopo
Is there any api for this?
thanks

It is always me writing as a comment to myself.
I mean, from my application I could start caltopo as an url relative to a point's coordinate eg
    http://caltopo.com/map.html#ll=35.51858,-88.59382&z=20&b=sat&o=t&n=0.5

but it would be great to get automatic loading of a kml file relative to a route.
    Thanks for any help.

It's not an API in the sense that I'm making guarantees about its future availability, notification before modifying or dropping the feature, etc, but you can add KML as one of the hash parameters, e.g. map.html#kml=urlencoded_url_to_your_kml_file

I don't remember off the top of my head if it will auto-center or if you also need to supply a center and zoom.
