Just to spot on map from Profile line

It would be useful if, for example, you were to double click right click on a spot on the profile line and have the map jump to that spot on the route. Currently there is an indicator on the route when you slide the cursor over the profile, but unless you're zoomed out, you can't always see where that spot is on the route -- it's off of the window. And if you are zoomed out and can see the indicator, you can't see enough detail to know what is nearby.
For example, let's say I'm planning a 60 mile loop and I'm planning on ten miles a day. I want to see where on the route the mileage is 10 miles, 20 miles, etc. Let's say i can see the entire map. I plot a Profile and slide the cursor to ten miles on the Profile and it shows me the indicator on the route. But because I'm zoomed out to see the entire route, I can see no detail at the indicator, so I'm constantly zooming in and out.
It would be nice if I could zoom into the map to see detail, and the map would "jump" to the coordinates of the indicator if I asked it to. I could see a feature that would allow you to right click on the profile and have a "Jump to Coordinates" command.
Thank you.

It's a good idea and I'll look into it, but because there is an inevitable delay when re-centering the map, my initial concerns are that either it will be so obscure no one will find it, or real-world usage will wind up being awkward at best.

Normally when planning a trip like that I find it's easier to make each day a separate line. The gross gain/loss numbers on a 60 mile line are fairly inaccurate unless you have a paid pro subscription and use the resample option in the full-screen profile dialog. You can print a single-page profile with each day stacked on top of each other, and using a different color for each day, it's easier to tell which line is which.

If you need to switch up the plan, right click -> modify -> split here or join allows you to move parts of the route from one line to another.

If you click on the smaller / interactive profile, the map will now re-center on that location.
