Drawing a line that snaps to a fixed grade or slope

I just joined and saw this topic, but it's closed. I just want to add that it would be an incredible tool for we trail folks. If the program could calculate grade in percentages as the line was drawn it would be a huge boost to trail design.

    Hi Shawn -

    To clarify, we use open / closed to help keep track of which topics require a reply or followup on our end. You can always reopen a closed topic with a new reply - it doesn't mean we've ruled out the idea, only that there's no follow up on the topic needed - at least until we have something to announce.

    That said, it's definitely not easy to integrate that into the existing line drawing code.
