Attributes of edited imported tracks

I love CalTopo and would like to recommend it to others as the complete solution for working with maps and tracks.

But there are two things that Garmin BaseCamp does better when editing tracks: it keeps the timestamps of the trackpoints, and it can "Set
Selected Track to Map Elevation", where it grounds the track by assigning a DEM value to each trackpoint.

Any chance these might be implemented (or am I missing something)?

As a recent change, CalTopo preserves timestamp and elevation data on tracks. You can't see or do anything with it yet, but when you go to edit the line, the edit dialog will show a warning that allowing you to edit the points will require discarding that data.

The UI around showing and handling that data will get built out soon, as it's closely tied to track recording within the forthcoming app.
