Semi-transparent lines

Would be useful to have semi-transparent lines for marking routes without obscuring the map.

Like using a highlighter on a paper map.

    This is one of those things that's so obvious, I had to dig back through the code to figure out why I haven't done it yet, and I don't have a good answer. I'm definitely going to tackle this, and soon-ish, but no solid ETA as it requires changing a number of areas - the map viewer, the OpenLayers-based offline map viewer, the PDF/KMZ generator, KML exports, and GPX backups / imports.
