Missing polygons on import

I'm trying to import a KMZ file with a bunch of polygons but for some reason only a few make it in the import. I think this may have something to do with caltopo's ability to read multi-polygons?

KMZ file: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Oq-eNlq_vNSuHK-8sHC8oy7GoPsgn0bT

KMZ viewed on google maps: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1f9mu6RBw-zDLaG2_8SJ0nuXygleVGKi_&usp=sharing

I've tried lots of different conversions and imports but nothing is working, any ideas?

Hi there. Somehow this got lost in our spam folder which I only check every few weeks. So sorry. I'm going to take a look at this but it shouldn't be a problem to import multiple polygons.

    Hi Gabriel,
It looks like our software isn't parsing or importing the MultiGeometry tag and all the polygons contained within that tag. Interesting though it's not generating an error in the background. The KMZ spec is very large and while we support most features of the spec we don't support all of them. I will double check with a developer on this and if this is intentional.

    Best,
    Ben

    Hi Gabriel,
Spoke to one of the developers. Under the multi geometry tag used in this file, we are only importing the first polygon. Turns out its a fairly easy fix so we've added it to our bug list and we will try to get it fixed in the next few weeks.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

    Best,
    Ben

Sorry when I said fairly quick I mean weeks to a month or two, not days. We have a huge upcoming release that we are focused on at the moment. I don't want to promise a time frame and disappoint you. In the meanwhile if you can break multigeometries into individual polygons it should import seamlessly.

We'll get it fixed as soon as possible, but I promise you'll love the update and see why we prioritized in this way.

    Best,
    Ben
