Missing Labels on Printing

As previously noted, track labels are occasionally suppressed in printed PDFs due to the text's displayed length being longer than the track's displayed length. Often the solution is simple: just abbreviate the label text until it is short enough to display along the length of the PDF track. However, there are many situations where this solution isn't practical. In cases where a short track needs to be labeled it would be much better to simply print the track label horizontally like a marker label, instead of suppressing the label entirely.

Understood, but it's not a trivial change and not a high priority at this time.

Fair enough. A (tedious) workaround is to apply the desired track label to a marker created near the track, and then change the marker icon to a custom invisible icon so that only the marker's label is visible.
