iOS app tracks to Caltopo

This may be user error, but when I create a track in the app, I was under the impression that it would sync to and create a new map under my account on the website. I’ve tried a few times now, and while I can view the tracks in the app afterwards, I don’t see them on the website when logged in. I’ve checked my web account both through my phone and from a computer in case.
Any suggestions here? This is a screen cap of tracks in the app.

    So it does sync to your account but it won't automatically create a new map. It saves to the open map or just to your account. You can find all your saved tracks on CalTopo by clicking on your email address and going to the your tracks tab. We have a bit of optimization to do here and we recognize that.

    Thanks Ben!
    I was just under the impression that a new map was created. I didn't
    notice the "your tracks" tab under the my account menu until just now that
    you said it was there.

    We'll work to impove this functionality as we finalize the beta and in initial releases. But for now you have to download and reimport the track if you don't save it to an existing map.
