    Hey there,
The app is publicly available. Are you asking where to obtain the app or are you specifically asking to beta test the app?

    Best,
    Ben

I would very much like to try the app in connection with our emergency
    comms network.
I can not find the app on the App Store. I was advised that I needed
TestFlight in order to test the beta version. I got the TestFlight, but is
says "No Apps Available to Test".
They mention that one needs an invitation from the developer.

    Can you help?

CalTopo is available on the App Store now. No test flight invitation needed. The link for the app is at the bottom of our page Caltopo.com/about or can be found by searching “CalTopo” on the App Store.

    Best,
    Ben

Nothing found on my iPhone on the App Store.
Maybe it takes some time for it to spread out to the servers?

    I am in Norway.

I just released it broadly. Note that the only layer for offline use right now is the Scanned Topo layer

On this page: https://testflight.apple.com/join/dLwq62XW one can read:

"To test beta versions of apps using TestFlight, you’ll need to accept an email or public link invitation from the developer and have a device that you can use to test."

I never received such an invitation.
Is the app now released publicly?

I released it publicity in Norway about 4hrs ago. We were waiting on mapping to be rendered and since it is now I was able to broaden the public release.

    Did another App Store search.

Any idea what the problem might be?

    Figured it out.
When searching directly on App Store on the mobile, there is no match.
But, when using the link on the Caltopo.com/about page from the iPhone, one gets it.

This is the adive I got from support:
" The link for the app is at the bottom of our page Caltopo.com/about or can be found by searching “CalTopo” on the App Store."

Only the first part of it works.

Very strange, I don't have an explanation for you. We did release the app on iTunes in Norway (as well as Finland and Sweden) but it was just yesterday.

Regardless glad you got it working.
