Android App not found on Play Store.

I am attempting to install the Caltopo app on my Pixel 2 phone, but I am encountering a confusing problem.

If I search for the app in the play store, Caltopo is not listed in the results.

If I websearch for the app, it's play store page can be seen in the search results, but following that link brings up a "We're sorry, the requested URL was not found on this server" page.

If I search from an incognito browser tab, I can view the play store page.

Is the app region locked? My Google account region is set to Canada.

Please advise on how to install the app,

Thank you,

    Hi James,
You're absolutely right at this point in time the app is listed as unavailable in Canada. That is certainly not our intent long term so I need to check in with one of our developers if there was a reason that the beta was not made available in Canada, there may be something specific I'm not aware of. A while back we did not have comprehensive Canadian maps so it may have been an accidental holdover from that time. He's off the grid much of today and tomorrow so I'll try to ping him and get back to you with an answer by mid-week. I anticipate regardless of beta availability that the final release will be in North America inclusive of Canada.

Fixed. We don't know why but it reverted to US only when we updated to the most recent version. It was not intended. I've made it available once again in Canada.

    Thanks for the support.
